This session features The Blue Hour by Paula Hawkins—a gripping psychological thriller centered on Vanessa Chapman, a reclusive artist whose secrets begin to unravel after one of her sculptures is discovered containing what appears to be a human bone. As curator James Becker is drawn into the mystery, the story explores themes of love, betrayal, ambition, and obsession, set against the haunting backdrop of an isolated Scottish island. Told through multiple perspectives, the novel delves into questions of truth, identity, and the dark side of creativity.

This book, with its exploration of memory and artistic obsession, is paired with the exhibition Peter Paone: Not So Still Life.
