An Afternoon of Opera and Song

The award-winning Resident Artists of Philadelphia’s world-renowned Academy of Vocal Arts (AVA) return to the Museum for a spectacular afternoon of opera and song. These concerts feature classical and near-classical repertoire by international talent with a program that includes selections from opera, operetta, and classic Broadway.

Book Club

"Beyond Words" is the Michener’s book club where we discuss a book selection inspired by art, artists, and/or the artistic process in response to the Museum’s collections or special exhibits. What better place to combine books and art than our museum, aptly named after writer and museum benefactor James A. Michener?
