Adult Workshops

Join us for an inspiring adult afternoon workshop. Whether you’re a seasoned artist or trying something new, this relaxed and fun environment is perfect for unleashing your creativity. All materials will be provided-just bring your imagination and a desire to explore the universe through art! Pre-registration required. Adult workshops are for those age 18 and over. All materials provided unless otherwise noted. All skill levels are welcome.

Artistic Excursions

Book Club

 "Beyond Words" is the Michener’s book club where we discuss a book selection inspired by art, artists, and/or the artistic process in response to the Museum’s collections or special exhibits. What better place to combine books and art than our museum, aptly named after writer and museum benefactor James A. Michener?

Gallery Talks

Gallery Talks provide the guest with the opportunity to hear from different voices at the museum and view the pieces from a new perspective. The smaller group provides a more personal way to learn about our exhibitions and collection.

Unplugged Family Day

Unplugged Family Days are held on the Second Sunday of the month. Admission to the Museum is Free. Some programs require pre-registration. All children must be accompanied by a registered adult.
