STITCHED STORIES: FIBERS, PAPER AND THE ARTIST'S BOOK
Sunday, April 18
12-4 p.m.
Instructor: Rachael Brown
Members: $50 • Non-Members: $60
Explore the intersection of fiber art, hand stitching, collage, and bookmaking in this hands-on workshop inspired by the work of Barbara Boertzel.
Participants will create a small handmade artist's book that combines fabric, paper, thread, printed imagery, and personal marks. Through simple bookbinding and hand-stitching techniques, students will learn how ordinary materials can become a deeply personal visual record.
All materials are provided, but participants are asked to bring flat personal items to add to their books.
