Teen artists will explore new techniques and develop their skills in a creative and supportive environment. Focusing on observation, they’ll participate in demonstrations, receive personalized instruction, and engage in group critiques. Using materials like pencil, charcoal, pastel, graphic markers, watercolor, and acrylic paint, students will create their own works of art. Visits to the Michener galleries will inspire them as they study contemporary and historical artists.
This class is perfect for those looking to enjoy the creative process, enhance their school art experience, or build a strong college portfolio. With fresh projects each session, many students return year after year.
