In our Explore Art series, students dive into new drawing and painting skills while experimenting with a variety of art materials, including mixed media collage and printmaking. Each week, they visit the Michener galleries for inspiration, enriching their creative journey. 

With personalized instruction and engaging art lessons, students enhance their observation and imagination, develop new talents, express themselves, and build confidence-all while evolving their unique artistic style. They work from photographs, direct observation, and their own creativity, using pencils, oil and chalk pastels, tempera, acrylics, watercolors, and more. All materials are included. 

Students’ artwork will be showcased in the Art in Bloom Education Gallery exhibition in April 2026. With fresh projects each session, many students love returning for consecutive years in the fall, winter, and spring!
