In Discover Art classes, children will enhance their drawing and painting skills, develop new talents, and boost their confidence and creativity. They'll have the chance to create unique artworks while exploring a variety of materials. Students will visit the Michener galleries and sculpture garden for inspiration, using photographs, observation, and their imagination in their art-making. Throughout the class, they’ll experiment with pencils, paint, plaster, wire, and air-dry clay. With new projects each session, many students love returning for consecutive years in the fall, winter, and spring!
Selected works of art from each participant will be featured in the spring 2026 Art in Bloom exhibition.
