Learn different approaches to depicting the natural world through drawing techniques. Participants will take inspiration from botanical illustrations, scientific studies, and land and seascapes.
All materials needed to participate in class are provided. For students who wish to bring their own supplies, or would like to work at home, please see the suggested supply list below:
- Drawing pencil set – 6B through 6H
- Blending stumps
- Vine charcoal, compressed charcoal, charcoal pencil
- Kneaded eraser
- Multimedia sketchbook
- Colored pencils
- Watercolors
- Drawing board
- Artist's tape
