The beloved Jazz Night concert series continues! Featuring award-winning jazz artist, composer, and educator Fostina Dixon, and her band, Winds of Change. Guests will be treated to an evening of art, captivating music and light refreshments in the Museum’s elegant Edgar N. Putman Event Pavilion. Refreshments and Museum admission are included in ticket price. 

Please note: Seating is arranged in tables. Each table can seat eight individuals per table. Tickets purchased together under the same name will be sat together. Fostina Dixon & Winds of Change 

Fostina Dixon & Winds of Change has been described as stunning, soulful, and a jazz tour-de force that soothes the mind, moves the heart, and grooves the body. Performing an uplifting collection of music that elegantly blends contemporary jazz, gospel, funk, and R&B.

A native of Wilmington, Delaware, not only is Ms. Dixon exceptionally gifted on reed instruments, she is also an accomplished composer, vocalist, and educator as well, and has toured and recorded with legendary musicians such as the Gerald Wilson Big Band, Sammy Davis Jr., Prince, and the iconic Marvin Gaye, with whom she toured for four years. 

Ms. Dixon’s passion for teaching and inspiring young people is evident, receiving a Christi Award for her contributions to promoting the arts in her community, an Outstanding Arts Educator award from the Delaware Board of Education, and an Outstanding Contributor award from the Council of Jazz Advocates for her work as an arts educator and the Founder and longtime Executive Director of the Wilmington Youth Jazz Band.
